My Personal Journey

I was born in 1979 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, into a family with very contrasting energies. My father, a disciplined military engineer, taught me precision and structure. My mother, a compassionate radiologist, showed me the power of empathy. These two distinctly contrasting energies shape who I am today.

From childhood, sports were my escape. Gymnastics, athletics, running, and skiing gave me joy and freedom. Eventually, yoga entered my life during university, providing a sense of calm and balance I desperately needed.

Then, on the surface, my life seemed perfect: a successful corporate career, a loving husband, and two beautiful daughters. Yet deep inside, I was struggling. I felt disconnected from myself, overwhelmed by the pressure to be perfect in every role I played. This constant striving left me emotionally drained and physically exhausted.

In 2014, my world turned upside down. At only 35, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The treatments—surgery, chemotherapy, radiation—were extremely tough on my body. On top of that, I was thrown into medical menopause, experiencing severe hot flashes, mood swings, brain fog, and fatigue. I hardly recognized myself.

In search of relief, I discovered Hormone Yoga Therapy. Within just two weeks of practicing regularly, my menstrual cycle returned. I couldn’t believe it! This incredible result sparked a profound change in me. I knew I had found something special, something I wanted to share with every woman going through similar struggles.

Inspired, I trained directly under Dinah Rodriguez, the founder of Hormone Yoga Therapy, being dedicated practitioner and letter becoming a certified instructor. From that point on, my mission became clear: empowering other women through this healing practice.
